TOR (Two-O-R) is an additional immobilizer that is used together with IGLA (IGLA). An immobilizer is a device that prevents the engine from starting without proper authorization. TOR is an analog blocking module (a component that restricts starting). It connects and works together with the main unit of IGLA 2+ and IGLA ALARM (AUTHOR ALARM).

Even if the primary authorization of IGLA is bypassed and the engine starts, TOR stops the engine right before the car begins to move. This is TOR’s “second layer of protection.”

Daily use is no different from before

TOR operates basically fully automatically in conjunction with IGLA. There is no need for customers to operate anything for TOR, and the procedures for getting in and out do not increase. Even for vehicles driven by your family, you can use it as you always have. If you store it in a radio-signal blocking box, take the key fob out before driving.

Security is hard to maintain if, even with strong protection, it becomes a burden every day. At Logon, we consider the configuration including ease of use.

About combining TOR with IGLA

TOR cannot be installed by itself. Because it is designed to work connected to the IGLA main unit, combining it with IGLA is required.

We often get the question: if you already have IGLA installed, should you also add TOR? The answer varies depending on the vehicle model, factory system, storage environment, and how you normally use the car. At Logon, we will ask about the condition of your vehicle and your needs, including whether adding TOR is truly necessary. We do not make proposals whose only purpose is to add more equipment.

Q. Can it be added later?
A. Yes. You can add it later to the IGLA you are using now. For vehicles we have installed, records of the configuration remain, so we can tailor the additional part to your vehicle. For vehicles installed by other shops, please confirm the current status and consult with us individually.

Q. The IGLA authentication works, but the engine stops or won’t start—what should I do?
A. Do not touch the equipment yourself—please contact our shop.

We will advise you after checking the actual vehicle and its current installation status.

Two-year complimentary warranty
For security systems purchased from our shop and newly installed by us, we provide a free warranty for two years from the date of installation.

When switching to a different vehicle
In some cases, you may be able to transfer the removed equipment to your next vehicle. However, depending on the vehicle model, additional parts or costs may be required. We do not recommend selling a vehicle with the equipment left installed. If you plan to switch vehicles, please consult us in advance.
